As part of this Khizi and Beshbarmag tour, you will switch to an off-road vehicle to reach the sacred Khydyrzinda shrine on the peak of Beshbarmag Mountain. Here you will learn the ancient legends and spiritual traditions connected with this mystical site. Travelers often witness unique Azerbaijani folk rituals, and those who wish may participate themselves.

Along the route, you will see the ruins of an ancient fortress and an old cemetery, giving a deeper look into the historical layers of the Khizi region. Travelers who climb the long, nearly Tibetan-style staircase are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the Caspian Sea.

Alti-Agach National Park

Your journey continues to Alti-Agach National Park, one of the most beautiful natural reserves in Azerbaijan. You will walk along stone forest paths, visit scenic viewpoints, and enjoy untouched mountain landscapes.

For lunch, we can stop at a cozy forest café serving some of the region’s best dishes — including outstanding goat meat specialties and salads made from wild herbs found only in the Khizi forests. Fresh thyme tea completes the experience.

As a memorable souvenir, you will take home a piece of agate stone, traditionally used for protection on the road. Centuries ago, sailors carried it on voyages; today, travelers hang it in their cars. We will also collect pure spring water from a natural source said to exist solely to refresh and bless wandering travelers.
